Equipment Mechanic (LP, Electric, Alternative Fuels)

Read’s Forklift was founded in 1981 in the small town of Live Oak, Florida.

Since then, we have expanded to four other locations: Valdosta, Georgia, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando, Florida.

We are committed to our customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We have openings in our Jacksonville Branch for a Shop Mechanic and an A level Field Mechanic. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of equipment consisting of material handling and heavy-duty diesel equipment. Must have your own tools and 2+ years of experience as a mechanic. Not all positions are entry-level jobs. Candidates must have solid experience to be part of our team!
